The spelling Kiewa seems more common than Keiwa, but both are used - it is the name of a river in Victoria, and Dederang is a nearby town. Tangambalanga is a small town in north-eastern Victoria. It is located approximately 15 miles south-east of the regional centre of Wodonga, in the Kiewa Valley. The residential district located near the intersection with the Kiewa Valley Highway is known as Kiewa. Both the Mitta Mitta and Kiewa Rivers flow into the Murray which forms the border between Victoria and NSW.
Alice Maud Croucher was the third great granddaughter of James Croucher.
