Mark Pallot has an entry for Amy Jane Croucher born in 1866, married to Richard Painter Thompson on 4 February 1924 at Royal Well Chapel, Bayshill, Cheltenham, Gloucester, and her death on 22 February 1927 at West Green, Hartley, Plymouth (sic), Hampshire of pleuro-pneumonia.

The Isle of Wight became an independent county in 1890.

West Green is just west of Hartley Wintney.
