Selina Hastings, Countess of Huntingdon (1707–1791) was an English religious leader who played a prominent part in the Methodist movement in England and Wales. She created the Countess of Huntingdon's Connexion and founded some 64 chapels. Today, it has 23 congregations in England and some in Sierra Leone. The West Hoathly chapel opened in 1824.
