1285 East Meon: Stephen atte Crouch' paid 4/- for two acres previous held by Cecilia la Webbe, the widowed mother of his wife. 1327 East Meon: Robert atte Crouche, son of Stephen, paid 20/- on marriage for a messuage and virgate in Bordean owned by his wife Juliana Foggescombe. 1337 East Meon: John atte Crouch' paid 6/8d for messuage and 3 acres in Langerrush' (Langrish) previously held by his father Stephen atte Crouche.
There is still a Bordean Lane running NE from the A272 towards Foxfield Green.
Messuage - a dwelling house and legal rights such as access to commons etc. Virgate - the Farnham Manor virgate was about 32 modern acres - see Medieval Farnham by Father (Etienne) Robo 1935. I assume it was similar.
