On a copy of Entry of Death number 163 in 1925 in Kingston in the County of Surrey Julia Bowden died on second November 1925 at 32 York Road, Kingston of chronic bronchitis, and acute bronchial pneumonia. She was the wife of John Marshall Bowden, a plasterer (retired) and the informant was her son J F Bowden of 52 Mill Place in attendance - the death was registered on the same day.

There is an entry in Ancestry Public Member Trees for Julia Croucher, mother Elizabeth Croucher born in Kingston, Surrey in 1856. Another entry adds her parents as Henry Croucher and Elizabeth Ann Holingdale, and her death on 2 November 1925 in Yorkshire. Another gives the place of death as 32 York Road, Kingston Upon Thames, Surrey. Peter Croucher gives the date of birth as 19 July 1855 in Kingston upon Thames, Surrey. Pat Collins and two other entries give the marriage on 27 April 1877 (which conflicts with the FreeBMD entry) to John Marshall Bowden at St Peters, Norbiton, Kingston Upon Thames, Surrey and her nine children. P Biggs gives her place of birth as Bittoms and adds her burial on 5 November 1925 at Bonner Hill Cemetery, Kingston Upon Thames, Surrey.

Relationship

Julia Croucher was the aunt of Frederick George Croucher, husband of Mary Ann Fullick, my fourth cousin once removed.
