Christening of Ann Shrubb in the IGI on 30 August 1829 in Headley, Hampshire, parents John and Charlotte Shrubb. The same information is in Headley Baptisms adding her father was a bricklayer living at Dunce's Farm.

In 1829 she was living in Headley Street from the christening of her sister Harriett, and in Fullers Bottom in 1831 from the christening of Alfred.

Her mother died in 1832, and her father married Lettice Trigg in 1838.

In the 1841 census as Ann Shrub aged 13, and a female servant living with Charles Berney aged 40 and a surgeon, Jane Berney aged 30, and Ann Craft aged 15 at ? Greene, Bramshott, Hampshire.

There are two entries inn FreeBMD for the marriage of Ann Shrub and Ann Shrubb (both on the handwritten original) and James Aldred in April-June 1849 in Farnham (4 153).

In the 1851 census as Ann Dlolred (sic - in the index, original illegible) aged 24, born in Headley, Hampshire and living with her husband (James), nephew (William Bommer aged 10) and a lodger (George Anldred aged 22, born in Frensham, single and a farm labourer) in Dockenfield, Surrey.

In the 1861 census as Ann Aldred aged 34, born in Headley, Hampshire, and living with her husband (James) and nephew (William Bonner) in Dockenfield, Hampshire.

I cannot find an entry in the 1871 census (I suspect there are pages missing from Surrey Extra Parochial).

Death of Ann Aldred in FreeBMD in April-June 1874 aged 46 in Farnham (2a 68).

Relationship

Ann Shrubb was my first cousin three times removed.
