An email adds William and Frances lived at number 24 Cowleaze Road Kingston on Thames Surrey. William passed away in 1968. He had been drinking and had fallen asleep still holding a cigarette which dropped onto the bedclothes and smoldered. This caused the room to fill with toxic smoke which suffocated him. William inherited the house from his father Edward Croucher when he passed away, in 1959. Frances Croucher (her nickname was Sis) had beautiful black hair; It was so long she could sit on it.
William John Croucher was the first cousin once removed of Frederick George Croucher, husband of Mary Ann Fullick, my fourth cousin once removed.
