Her brother was born in Salford in 1868.
In the 1871 census as Emma (sic - on the original) Saunders aged 6, born in Chalfont St Giles, Buckinghamshire, and living with her parents (William and Jane) and brother (William) at 27 Gravel Lane, Greengate, Salford, Lancashire. Another family lived at the same address.
Her brother was born in Chalfont St Giles in July-September 1871, and the family moved to Belfast before 1873 from the birth of her brother.
I cannot locate her in the 1881 census but she was not living with her family who returned from Belfast after 1879 and were living in Millbrook, Hampshire in 1881.

Her son and daughter were christened in Headley when the family were living at The Wheatsheaf Inn.
In the 1891 Census as Emily Croucher aged 26, born in Chalfont St. George, and living with her husband (James), son (Albert J) and daughter (Daisy M), sister (Emma Saunders), and two lodgers (George Cooper aged 57, born in Preston, Somerset, and an unemployed gardener) and his wife (Elizabeth Cooper aged 58 and born in Chetnole, Dorset) at the Wheatsheaf Inn, Arfold, Headley, Hampshire. Note that St George was the church of Little Chalfont, but all the other references are to Chalfont St Giles.
In the 1901 census as Emily Croucher aged 36, born in Chalfont St Giles, and living at with her husband (James), son (Albert), daughter (Daisy), and a nuresechild (Albert Salf aged 5 and born in Southampton) at 4 Sunnyside Cottages, Lower Cedar Road, St Mary's, Southampton.
In the 1911 census as Emily Croucher aged 46, born in Chalfont St Giles, married for 27 years, no children listed, and living with her husband (James), a self adopted son (Albert William Blake aged 15, born in Southampton, Hampshire, single and a chemist's errand boy) and a visitor (John Thomas Jackson aged 8 and born in Southampton, Hampshire) in three rooms at 4 Lower Cedar Road, Southampton, Hampshire.
Her husband died in Southampton in 1927.
