1327 East Meon: Robert atte Crouche, son of Stephen, paid 20/- on marriage for a messuage and virgate in Bordean owned by his wife Juliana Fuggescombe. (There is still a Bordean Lane running NE from the A272 towards Foxfield Green.)

In 1289 Roger de Fuggescombe son of Roger had paid a 12d fine on some land in East Meon.

Messuage - a dwelling house and legal rights such as access to commons etc.
Virgate - the Farnham Manor virgate was about 32 modern acres - see Medieval Farnham by Father (Etienne) Robo 1935.
