In the 1841 census as Lettice Shaub (sic - in the index, Shrub on the original) aged 40 (rounded down to a multiple of 5l), not born in Hampshire, and living with John (husband?), Esther (daughter?), Frederick (stepson? - Alfred?) and Ellen (stepdaughter?) at Fullers Bottom, Headley, Hampshire.

In the 1851 census as Lether Strub (sic - original illegible) aged 52, born in Farmsham, Surrey, and living with her husband (John), daughter (Ester) and stepson (Alfred) in Headley, Hampshire.

In the 1861 census as Lettes Shrub aged 64, born in Frensham, Surrey, widowed, and living with her son-in-law (actually her son) George Triggs, his wife (Ann), their son (William) and three daughters (Emly, Harriett and Maryann) in Lindford, Headley, Hampshire.

Entry in FreeBMD for the death of Letitia Shrubb in Farnbro in July-September 1862 (2a 55) which included Headley 1847-1869.

Relationship

Lettice West was my first cousin four times removed. Her husband John was my second great granduncle.
